Congratulations Darryl Taylor!

We are thrilled to announce that Darryl is our new Operations Director at Route One Infrastructure.

Darryl brings a wealth of experience built across both local government and national contracting. His early career saw him progress through roles including Estimator, Site Agent and Operations Manager before moving into the private sector in 2009. There, he held national Operations Manager positions with HIS, Ringway/Eurovia and Galliford Try, strengthening his operational and leadership expertise.

Darryl joined Route One in 2015 as Commercial Manager and became a key member of the Senior Leadership Team. During this time, Route One secured and delivered four National Highways CWF contracts as preferred supplier, including the waterproofing and joints on the Merseylink Bridge, followed by four SDF contracts, again as preferred supplier.

He has since moved into operations as Delivery Manager and now steps confidently into the role of Operations Director.

A Member of both the Institute of Civil Engineers and the Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors, Darryl is already focused on strengthening our team and fleet to support long‑term growth.
